SAICE Geotechnical Divisions third evening lecture for 2022 was held on Thursday, 7th July, at 16:30 The evening lecture was presented by Andrew Copeland, who headed the drafting committee. It comprised a preview of the new Code of Practice for Mine Residue Deposits: SANS 10286, which will be released for public comment in due course. This lecture was a hybrid event hosted online via MsTeams with in-person attendance at Ambrosia Hall in Midrand, Gauteng.
