SANS 10286: Awaiting SABS Feedback

The Code of Practice for Mine Residue, SANS 10286, remains stalled as the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) has yet to provide the necessary feedback. This delay is causing frustration within the industry, as the code plays a critical role in ensuring safety and compliance in mine residue management.

The situation highlights the pressing need for streamlined communication and resolution processes within SABS to avoid prolonged setbacks in vital standards development.

Further updates will be shared as they become available.
