The Geotechnical Division of SAICE, in collaboration with the ISSMGE Corporate Associates Presidential Group, is proud to invite all African geotechnical engineers to participate in the

This event will be presented by Dr. Peter Day and will take the form of an online survey of design methods for common geotechnical structures and is part of an international survey on overdesign in geotechnical engineering initiated by the ISSMGE in 2019.The event starts with an online meeting during which 10 geotechnical problems in two types of soils will be presented.  Participants will then be given two weeks to prepare and submit their designs online, for as many of the ten problems as they choose.
